Partez avec Trails in France around the Écrins massif. A 4-day course to complete almost the entire tour of this wild massif130 km long, with a difference in altitude of 8,300 m.

From Vénosc, you will admire the Lake of Muzelle, the mythical Barre des Écrinsand the Mount Pelvouxand you will finish under the Grand Pic de la Meije in Mizoën. You will evolve on technical paths, in a rather committed alpine massif. The numerous glaciers of the massif will offer you sumptuous landscapes. With this course, you will travel in a decor of high mountain cradled by long glacial valleys.

During the days, you will have the opportunity to to improve running techniques that will allow you to progress in trailrunning uphill, downhill, on uneven terrain, use of poles, etc... With our mountain leader specializing in trail ridingYou will discuss all the issues related to the preparation and performance on an ultra-trail by addressing nutrition, recovery, training and many other topics.

The price includes

  • coaching by a mountain guide who specializes in trail
  • full board from the first day of the evening course to the last day of the midday course

- A 5 to 15 L backpack
- A waterproof or windproof jacket
- A warm long-sleeved top
- Tights or long pants in the bag
- Adapted / trail type socks

Day 1Vénosc - La Chapelle-en-Valgaudémar (37 km - 3.300 D+)

Welcome at 8:30 am at the bus station of Bourg d'Oisans
9am - 7pm: Day hike - run
In the evening: conference and debate on trail training

Day 2La Chapelle-en-Valgaudémar - Vallouise (33 km - 2.000 D+)

8am - 6pm: Day hike/run

Day 3Vallouise - La Grave (38 km - 2.300 D+)

8am - 6pm: Day hike - run

Day 4La Grave - Mizoën (19 km - 900 D+)

9am - 3pm: Day hike - run

Intensity 4/4: Extreme

Technicality 4/4: Engaged / Off trail

About the course Between 20 and 50 km per day. Between 1.500 and 3.500 D+ per day. You will be able to do 10-hour mountain outings in a row.

Technical level : You run in the mountains on technical and off-piste paths. You will encounter technical passages (scree, névés, steep slopes) and aerial passages.


Regular training with regular long runs of 2h/2h30
Long trail experience 40/60 km

Physical You run very regularly and you practice endurance sports (Trail, bike, hiking, skiing ...)
During the course you will be in excellent physical shape.

Technical You are at ease on all types of trails and can encounter technical passages (scree, névés, steep slopes) and aerial or off-trail.
